The brief
I wanted one page that answers what customers check before booking: who the barbers are, what each service costs, what the shop looks like and how to book. Every booking button goes to the shop’s Vagaro page, so the redesign needed no new booking system.
What I built
- Dark, purple-accented hero with the shop logo, oversized outlined background type and a Book Your Cut button
- Crew section with profile cards for nine barbers
- Shop gallery of four photos (barber stations, branded mural, pool table, front window) that open in a lightbox and close on an outside click or Escape
- Service menu listing 11 services, four named packages that each include a complimentary drink, and a $5-off banner for military, police, fire and EMS
- Review carousel with 10 testimonials, autoplay that pauses on hover, previous and next buttons, dots and touch swipe
- Scrolling services marquee, scroll-triggered reveals, smooth anchor scrolling, and a nav bar that gains a background on scroll
- Mobile menu with Escape-to-close and scroll lock, and layouts tuned across several breakpoints
