ChainHunters

ChainHunters was a game that tied each player’s identity and characters to a crypto wallet. It was built for players who would sign in with their own wallet and play as the NFT characters in that wallet.

The brief

The goal was a game where wallet ownership shapes what a player sees: sign in with a private wallet, then play as the NFT characters that wallet holds. The alpha build connected the wallet from the main menu, loaded the player’s NFTs, showed each character’s token ID on selection and loaded equipped character data from a database.

What I built

  • Non-custodial wallet connection and sign-in from the game’s main menu, through a Connect Private Wallet button
  • One-click wallet login flow
  • NFT character loading, with the on-chain token ID shown when a character is selected
  • Equipped character data loaded from a database into the game
  • NFT weapons with on-chain attributes
  • In-game NFT marketplace integration
  • Debug buttons in the standalone build to show the player’s NFTs, wallet and contract addresses, and character map
